PA Numbers Post
Nov 02 2004, 20:54 EST [updated Nov 02 2004, 23:01 EST]
This is where I'll stick the newest PA numbers, newest at the top. (for the counties with websites I compare the new subtotals with 2000 results to guess if there is a changing trend. No changing trend means Kerry wins). 4.5 million votes in the 2000 election, for comparision (2485k Gore 2281k Bush in 2000). To see better results check CNN's PA map. I'm still doing this because I spent 10 hours on it, dammit.

12: FNC calls for Kerry with 65% reporting, I see less than 25% reporting by polling County's websites. A good idea, I was hoping to stay on or ahead of the network edge by doing it gorilla style. No dice (I currently see Kerry 306k Bush 408k).
11: CNN Kerry 1550k Bush 1141k (me, Kerry 265k Bush 338k, urban districts don't have webpages!) Bush is gaining, but not fast enough.
10: Hoeffel is beating Specter! Narrowly, but Hoffel was 15 points out a few weeks ago. A combination of Republicans dropping Specter and Democratic get-out-the-dead err, vote.
9: screw my script, CNN has Kerry 1270k Bush 830k, with 51% reporting. The counties that haven't submitted any results are rural, and good for about +100k Bush he'll need more than 100k to win.
8: Kerry 205862 Bush 250802 (note, Philadelphia county does NOT have the results online, Kerry is up by 300k there).
7: Kerry 170981 Bush 201282 (4 more counties online)
6: K 54981 B 63318 (no counties have enough votes in to read anything into precentages)
5: Kerry 44183 Bush 48964 (a few more counties are starting to post, currently 15 total)
4: Kerry 6125 Bush 5380 (Some counties that only had placeholder pages are starting to come on line, I'm writing regular expressions as fast as I can)
3: Kerry 3894 Bush 3071 (CNN has 100k votes counted, so I think this experiment is a failure)
2: Kerry 1294 Bush 916 *yawn*
1: Kerry 900 Bush 425, not different than 2k (I'm not kidding when I say numbers _just_ started to get posted!)
