Just checked the blog, no word about your snow monsoon. I fully expected at least a post about the tow trucks and loud speakers telling everyone to get their cars off the street. You are letting your public down.
They don't always declare a snow emergency. For instance when we got 7 inches a month ago there was no announcement and no tow trucks [see this post for the typical announcement]. I didn't post this time because I didn't hear the sirens.

What I'm trying to say is that my car got towed. Bastards. It was there at 1pm on Sunday and gone this morning when I went to drive to work.

We actually didn't get that much snow here in Mass. The final Boston snowfall total was 17.5 inches, while by me(about one half hour northwest) it was less than 10. That's not that big of a deal.

Of course, you could never tell that judging by the media coverage. NBC programming was pre-empted ALL DAY for 'storm coverage.' This means that instead of watching the Winter Olympics, I got to see footage of an unfortunate wind-blown reporter confirming that, yes, it's still snowing. Ugh.

Update: Towing $75, Storage $60, Ticket $100. If you call the Office of Parking they A) won't answer the phone and B) will tell you to go to the police station to fill out a form and then to Pat's Towing. Once you go to the police station they tell you to just walk down the block to Pat's Towing. Pat's Towing only takes cash and has an ATM in the office/shed.
