Iceland Days 1 and 2

I'm behind on posting, so I'll cover the first two days at a shot. My original plan was to not sleep much the night before my flight so I would sleep on the plane and wake up at 6:30am GMT when the plane landed in perfect sync with local time. That might have worked if I had slept on the plane. The second wave of sprinters landed at 3pm GMT and we had introductions. Then it was over to CCP headquarters for a demo and drinks. And then to a bar (Circus). A few of us stayed out at the bar and all regretted it in the morning. I went to an after party with some CCP guys and really regretted it (though I did get to see the CEO of CCP playing the bongo drums). Everyone speaks english and very well (and they are very modest about it). They were amused by my five sentence repetoir of Icelandic, tickled that I had at least tried to learn it before coming. Sunset and Sunrise in Iceland are currently 11pm and 3:45am. I'm not sure what time I got back to the hotel but the sun was out.
Last night was much more tame, a late dinner and in bed by 10 O'clock. Because the sun is fully out you have to draw the curtains and ignore the light that steals around the edges. Not hard to do with some practicce, I imagine.
