Don't all babies have blue eyes at birth? That's what I thought and some experts agree. My Mom says it's a wives' tale and she has children with both blue and brown eyes (and green too). So I'll go with Mom on this one. Further proof that doctors are just guessing: I was a red headed baby and the doc said I was actually blonde but the beats and carrots in baby food were staining it red. I stopped eating baby food a few decades back but the red remains.
