Nightline tackles Scientology

Wow, ABC's Nightline covered Scientology for fifteen minutes. NBC lawyers were clearly involved because the piece only included personal factual statements by ex-members about their daily lives and chores. There wasn't a single mention of the Scientology belief system other than a factual mention of lie detectors as "auditing" devices. Definitely no stories of the Space Lord Xenu creating humanity by dropping souls into a volcano and fusing them together with hydrogen bombs because that would be crazy.

The featured adults run the Ex-Scientology Kids website, tagline: I was born, I grew up, I escaped. Including the niece of the current leader (Hubbard's heir). That site is covered in careful, lawyerly warnings that "your mileage may vary" and similar.
