I'm Wrong: Lithuanian is NOT Latinate

My previous post titled Surprise! Lithuanian is Latinate should be retitled "Nice! Lithuanian doesn't require any sounds that someone who knows a few latinate languages can't manage." That is a different thing.
A fellow EuroPython speaker tipped me off to the error and lo, upon reading the first page of the book that accompanied the CDs it says
Lithuanian and Latvian are the only existing Baltic languages.In my own defense I'll just say that Lithuanian is pronounceable to latinate natives. This is unlike my last foreign language attempt, Icelandic, which is a bitch. On stilts, in heat.
