It is fine and dandy for the media director of a fashion company to think this way. It is black and murderous for anyone in government to think the same. From the French Revolution forward there have been nation sized attempts to stop the clock of human progress (in the name of progress!) and just reshuffle what we have. Suffering is always the result, but there is always a next generation who thinks this time we'll get it right.
