Short version: I killed. The raw data has yet to be munched but my talk about things you don't care about went over very, very well with people who do care about that kind of thing. The hall was standing room only (500+ people) and in the days following people I'd never seen before thanked me and shook my hand [but didn't ask to take a picture with me -ed].

I landed somewhere between #3 and #1 out of 75 speakers in feedback votes (the other top three talks had statistically obvious vote stuffing - which doesn't mean they weren't popular otherwise).

Anyway, I'm fucking thrilled - how could I not be?
