A couple links for non-engineers

I'm putting these here so I don't lose them. Both are a good introduction for non-software types to get a feel for technical products.
The first is Technical Debt. The second is about bit-rot. The two concepts are related and not something non-software people always understand. If something works why would it ever stop working? If feature N was easy why is feature N+1 hard?
